He received his professorship in theology. In 1959 he received Greek citizenship. In Mexico he was Professor of Classical Greek and Etymologies in the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (U.N.A.M.), of Greek and Latin Etymologies, History and World Literature at Universidad La Salle, History and Literature in the Instituto Patria and History in the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, and Researcher at the Instituto de Estudios Filosóficos de la U.N.A.M.. Lecturer of History and Culture at the Dirección Cultural del Instituto Politécnico Nacional. On January 31, 1984, Bishop of Nazianzus, Doctor Pablo Ballester, died tragically at the age of 56 years in Mexico City.
