Wikipedia, via WWW, Jan.27, 2016 (Jesús Reyes-Heroles González Garza; Mexico City, March 30, 1952; is a Mexican economist and politician, member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, has held the positions of Secretary of Energy and Ambassador of Mexico to the United States and held the position of Director General of Petróleos Mexicanos from December 1, 2006 to September 8, 2009; is an economist at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), with law studies at UNAM, holds a PhD in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico de Massachusetts (MIT). Director of BANOBRAS (1994), Secretary of Energy (1995-1997) and Ambassador of Mexico to the United States of America (1997-2000); Jesús Reyes-Heroles González-Garza is the son of prominent politician and intellectual, considered an ideologue of the PRI. He is also the brother of political analyst Federico Reyes Heroles).
