El país WWW site, viewed Aug. 14, 2020 (in obituary dated July 31, 2020: Conchita Zendrera was the pioneer, in the late 50s, in translating and publishing the adventures of Tintin in Spain through the publishing house Juventud. This was a mere milestone in a long and fruitful career in the field of children's and youth literature and Spanish publishing history, a chapter that closed Thursday night [July 30, 2020] when Zendrera died at age 100, as it transpired on Friday. El tesoro de Rackham el Rojo (1957) and El secreto del Unicornio (1958) were the titles that marked Zendrera's career when, at age 20, she went to work at the firm her father founded, Juventud, where five years later she would already head the children's line, a post she did not leave for almost half a century.
