BnF authorities, May 29, 2014 (authorized access point: Fauche, Samuel (1732-1803); Swiss printer-bookseller, active in Neuchâtel 1753?-1789?; born 1733-11-15, died 1803; imprimeur-libraire du Roi [de Prusse]; worked as a binder in Lausanne for François Grasset; bookseller in Neuchâtel from around 1753, becomes printer in September 1773; in July 1769, one of the co-founders of Société typographique de Neuchâtel (S.T.N.), but leaves in 1773; in 1784, opens branches in Hamburg and Brunswick; in 1787, cedes part of his business to his sons Pierre François Fauche (1763-1814) and Abraham Louis Fauche (1762-1829) and gradually ceases his activity)
