520 _aSince the late 1800's the Roman Catholic Church has developed a social justice doctrine as part of the required tenets of its belief system. In this study I show that this social teaching has evolved as a developmental doctrine responding to social phenomena, such as unemployment, poverty, war, human rights, etc. However, this international doctrine must be exercised within specific national contexts.
